If
you write for children, don't limit yourself to traditional fiction. Use your

Hi D.J. I often suggest that teachers and libraries turn one of my books into a play. My second book has 10 characters and is so much fun to read. I would love to see it "performed" by kids.
I actually got into writing plays when I observed how kids' stories are often carried a lot by the dialogue. I converted a few stories into plays and then moved on to writing plays "from scratch." You might be able to create a script for your book!
